Updated Storage of Explosives on the ATF page.  Previously, it was indicated that igniters "must not" be stored with detonators.  Further review of ATF regulations reveals that these devices may be stored with detonators and/or other explosive devices.

3/21/2000 -- We've moved!  OCS has moved from its old offices at 8717-A Forum Way to new offices at 8805 Forum Way.  This move will allow us to be more accessible to Owen Oil Tools staff depending upon our services.  This is just a physical move, no changes have been made to mailing addresses to phone numbers.  The following should be used to update your contact information for OCS:

3/16/2000 -- OOT Cartridges have been reviewed and approval information updated.  These revisions affect all parts with PN beginning with CRT-.  To locate these items in HAZLIST On-line, search for CRT*.  Additionally, a supplemental report containing updated information for these CRT items has been added to the HAZLIST page.

3/7/2000 -- OOT segmented casing cutters and SplitShot™ Cutters are no longer available with the detonator packaged in the same box as the cutter.  Detonators will now be supplied in separate packaging.  This change will reduce confusion over what magazine these products are to be stored in and reduce the possibility of sending product incorrectly packaged for export (exports are not allowed with the detonator in the package).  This change will be reflected on all affected entries in HAZLIST On-line later today.   Click here for a list of affected items.  

Additionally, the HAZLIST (Domestic & Export) and HAZLIST (Canada) reports have been updated to include this change.  If you have copies of these reports, you should download the updated reports and discard your old reports.  See the HAZLIST page to download these new reports.

2/10/2000 -- To prevent confusion about their approval status, we have removed the 353 entries from HAZLIST On-line discussed in the 2/1/2000 note.  These items will be returned to HAZLIST On-line after a new approval is obtained to cover them.  As noted before, these 353 items are not currently available for sale and/or distribution by OOT.  Click here for a list of affected parts.
